Happy Chinese New Year!
A = Rising sun. The flags are usually made of silk or paper.
I = As for colors. ...and smells, they'll scatter in the water.
U = Ueno. Ueno Yuuka is a famous female singer.

Yu = Bow and arrow. Cupid carries arrows with heart shapes.
Yo = Yoshino. There are only three different syllables beginning with Y.
Ra = Radio. Signals from the radio factory spread wide.
Ri = Apples. Hippomenes won the contest by throwing down golden apples.
Ru = House-sitters. They're left in villages when others cross cliffs.
Re = Lotus flower. It is also the name of a china spoon.
Ro = Rome. The European city has tall walls for the Colosseum.
Wa = Bracken. Bracken is small, with feather-like leaves.
Wi = The wells.
We = It's hooked. (These two letters are no longer in the modern alphabet.)
Wo = Owari. A few people had close-tied relatives from that former province.
N = End of the alphabet. All are planned by men.
